Thiruvadisulam (Sri Karumari Amman)

About the Temple:
This temple is located in a wonderful village which is around 9kms from Chengalpattu. Amman statue over here is around 51 feet tall and this temple has many specialities.





Specialties of the temple:


  • This temple is equivalent to Kailsh and Vaikund

  • This place has been sung by GnanaSambandhar

  • Karpaga Virucham is present here

  • You can see a mountain which looks like a elephant sleeping

  • Ambal is worshipped as kamadhenu here

  • You will get Sagala Sowbakhiyams when you visit here

Temple Timings:

You can see the big amman statue all the time. But there is one more small temple and the timings are given below:


  • 7.30 am -11.30am

  • 5pm- 7.30pm

Annadhanam:

Lunch is provided for the devotees free of cost and lunch will be available from 12.30-2pm. Prasadham is provided here through out the day.





How to reach this place:

This temple is located in a place called 'Thirvadisoolam'. It is present in Chengalpattu- Thiruporur road. It is around 7kms from Chengalpattu and you have lot of buses from Chengalpattu coming to this place. After getting down in Thiruvadisulam bus stop, you have to walk around 2kms to the temple. There are lot of sign boards which shows the way to the temple. There is no auto available in Thiruvadisulam. If you cant walk for 2kms, it is better to take an auto/cab from Chengalpattu itself.
